Paper Airplane Gliders
Card paper airplane gliders have been around for a long time, but AG Industries / Whitewings has taken them to a much higher level. In an effort to provide educational and family fun they have created a series of Whitewings paper card airplane model glider kits.

Starting with historical aircraft in their Smithsonian Volume 1 kit you will find a series replicating some of the earliest aircraft flown by aviation pioneers at the start of the 20th century, followed by the Whitewings Smithsonian Volume 2 which replicates more modern historical aircraft.

Each of the Smithsonian kits comes with not only detailed instructions for assembly, but also interesting details about each aircraft written and approved by members of the Smithsonian Museum. These kits are wonderful fun school or family projects which bring aviation history to life.

In an effort to help youngsters understand the dynamics of aircraft flight, Whitewings has designed a simple paper card glider model Trainer which is easy to construct and easy to fly. It comes complete with assembly instructions along with a set of instructions on how to change the shape of the airfoils to change the paper card model's flight characteristics.

The last kit on the page is a 6 airplane kit with replicas of famous aerobatic aircraft which fly very well, and the detailed assembly and flight instructions provide hours of enjoyment both as a school or family project and activity.

Whitewings Aviation Milestones - Volume 2 - Modern Flight
All the paper airplane gliders in this Second Smithsonian Series of Aviation Milestones are based upon their real counterparts at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum.

Modern aviation has greatly benefited from the aeronautical contributions each plane has made. Achievements such as the ME262s jet poweed engines, the Bell X-1s breaking the sound barrier and the substantial "aviation firsts" of the other planes accelerated the pace of aviatin and space flight development.
