The founders of The Paper Airplane Company, LLC are John Wickham and John White. Each one brings his own special talent to the formation and operation of the company. Following is a brief resume' on each of the founders:
John WIckham graduated from Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids, MI with a degree in illustration. John has been a creative director in advertising and graphic design for 23 years, and has won several local, regional and national awards for excellence. Prior to attending college John was self-employed as a carpenter and remodeler. Designing model airplanes comes naturally from both of these life experiences and John's love for aviation.

John White is a graduate of Michigan State University and was the Chief Pilot for an insurance company for 7 years. After that he formed an aviation insurance agency which grew into a major competitor in the Mid-West. He is an ATP pilot with DC-3 and Cessna Citation Type Ratings, and over 7,000 hours of flying time. John's wife Betty owns a 1939 Piper J-3 Cub (which they both love to fly), and a part interest in a Piper Navajo Chieftan.
